Eleven Days and Counting....I'm hearing and confirming more and more though out the day of who is attending the Renewable Energy Roundup in Fredericksburg Texas. I look forward to seeing vendors taking their time to show us new and exciting products.
Getting the most value of your time while out visiting the Energy Roundup.
1. Bring your power bill.
Suppliers need to know how much energy your family or business uses, price per kilowatt & company the services your area. Know your Coop or your energy provider.
Are they renewable friendly & knowledgeable.
2. Deeds and restrictions. How renewable friendly is your site?
3. Wind Zone...Visit 3tier.com website. Annual wind speed for your area is listed by just
entering your zip code. Average solar time is located on this site.
4. Collecting information on systems will not answer your questions. Don't be afraid to give
vendors your number to reach you or an e-mail address. One on one information is best when the vendors are not overwhelmed in a crowd won't give you the information that you are searching for. Every situation is different.
I encourage everyone to visit the Texas State Technical College. There you will find out where new testing labs are being built in Texas. Grants and scholarship being offered for new job in the industry of renewable energy.
There are scholarship being offered in local community colleges for woman in the high technical field. Get to know these counselor....they are aware of the trends.

Renewable Energy Roundup and Green Living Fair 9/25-9/27

10 Years!! Can you believe it?
I'm looking forward to this renewable energy fair. Last year as I walked around I was amazed by the innovating ideas that were on display.
It makes for a perfect day of engaging conversation with the owners of these companies. What used to be a weekend of getting the news out there, is now how can I get away for three days from such a demanding industry?
The Round up offers a variety of exhibitors and presenters of renewable, sustainable & alternative transportation. Cost $10 a day or $20 for all three days.
Location - Main Street Fredricksberg Texas
Look for me, Angela Potrykus, volunteering for Wind Man Energy at the tent on friday 11:00 to 3:00 & Sunday 8:30 to 12:30.
